A male Honey Buzzard displayed over Carr Wood for 10-15 minutes at around 1145 before gaining height & heading south, putting on quite a display for the fortunate observers. Typically quiet otherwise; 3 Mute Swans, 5 Mandarins, 7+ Gadwall, pair of Teal, 16 Tufteds, 6 Oystercatchers plus two chicks at least-the Chapel Bay pair reacting to a fisherman in front of the car park may have successfully moved their offspring to the bank, 18 Black-h-Gulls with the first two juveniles of the season.
