Thanks to Rod Key for the following:-

EREWASH MEADOWS DWT RESERVE   A Pectoral Sandpiper was found by Dave Sneap early evening on 15th Sept along with a Little Stint. They were both still present on 16th Sept but the Pectoral Sandpiper was very flighty and mobile and was distant at times. This will be the 21st county record providing notes etc are received on this bird with the last one the contentious bird at a private site-Ambaston GP-in Sept/Oct 2014.

WILLINGTON GP   A juv. Shag on 16th Sept-presumably one of the Foremark birds. This is now at Uttoxceter Quarry in Staffs just over the county boundary. Also a Yellow Legged Gull here on 16th Sept.

LINACRE RES  The long staying imm. Shag still here on 17th Sept along with 44 Mandarins.

BIG MOOR   An Osprey flew SE over Barbrook Pools at 10.55 a.m. on 18th Sept.

LOCKO PARK LAKE   On 17th Sept 2 Great Crested Grebes, 4 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 102 Greylag Geese, 1 Wigeon-unusual here and 7 Tufted Duck.

WESTON GANGE FARM, ASTON-ON-TRENT   On 18th Sept an ad. Caspian Gull with c45 Lesser Black Backed Gulls in a ploughed field.
