22 June 2018

First some late news; a male Blue-headed Wagtail was on the scrapes in front of the hides on 30 May, belatedly identified from photos. More recently a Hobby yesterday and in the late afternoon/evening 5 Black-tailed Godwits on the west bank until 1905 when flushed by sailors, just for a change. Quiet this morning, the four LRPlover chicks were being encouraged by the parents across the moat and off the island, the Lapwing chicks had already moved off.
