Single Mute Swan, 4 Mandarins, 7 Gadwall, 2 Tufteds, 3 Goosander (one drake), 3 Oystercatchers, 2 Whimbrel on the small island in front of the Hide from early morning till midday at least must have been very tired refusing to move on despite the protestations of the local Oystercatchers and over-zealous togging – 4 were reported later in the day, 4 Sparrowhawks, 5+ Buzzards, a Red Kite through west at 1252, 16 BHGulls, 4 GBBGulls, 2 Herring Gulls, 3 Swifts, c50 House & c100 Sand Martins with fewer Swallows, 5 Chiffchaffs, 5 Willow Warblers, 8 Blackcaps, and a single Lesser Whitethroat, 5 Sedge and one Reed Warbler.
