Nothing recorded in the bird log for later in the day but on a dull wet morning little of note with a Mute Swan, 2 Teal, 1 Oystercatcher, 6 LRPlovers with two chicks still surviving, a Common Tern, 2ndCY GBBGull and 6 Sand Martins

4 Shoveler, 22 Tufteds, 5 Goldeneye, 27 Goosander at the south end of the res at dusk- a good count these days, 39 Cormorants, Water Rail, same adult Caspian Gull in the roost.

Juv Mute Swan, Pinkfeet heard over at 0935 couldn’t be located, 31 Tufteds, drake Pochard, 5 Goldeneye, a Goosander, 35 Cormorants, 10 Little Grebes, 2 Water Rails, 1 Willow Tit. Later an adult Caspian Gull in the roost.
