Nikki Mahadevan found a range of moths: Blood-vein, Celypha lacunana, Chimney Sweeper (3), Common Carpet (3), Common Marbled Carpet, Nettle-tap (several), and Silver-ground Carpet (5).
The Bottom Pond had c100 Azure damsels and c10 large red damsels, many ovipositing. The Middle pond had c30 Azure and 5 Large red damsels.
Chiffchaff, Blackbird. Golden-bloomed Grey-longhorn beetle, a hoverfly – Pellucid Fly (Volucella pellucens), a hoverfly on pond vegetation – Parhelophilus sp.
