Wandering Snail (Radix balthica)
Sightings from today’s work party participants:
Blackbird, Blackcap, Buzzard, Carrion Crow, Chaffinch, Chiffchaff, Goldcrest, Goldfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Magpie, Mallard, Nuthatch, Pheasant, Robin, Song Thrush, Whitethroat.
Wandering Snail Radix balthica (Bottom Pond).
Toad spawn (Bottom Pond).
Orange-tip, Small Tortoiseshell. (Also an unidentified White.)
The Small Tortoiseshell was unusual, as can be seen in this photo:
