From logbook – Jeff Davis, 10.30-13.00 cloudy but warm

Lots of brown butterflies in grass and small moths. 1 Southern Hawker deep in leaves of yellow iris, bottom pond.

Whitethroat and wrens singing. Chiffchaff still going and 1 Robin in hedge. 1 Azure damselfly on brambles in C6B. 2 Narrow-bordered 5-spot Burnet  on thistle heads in C4 near path cut off main top path. 5 Goldfinches flew over.
