27 Mandarins, 13 Teal, 154 Coots was the best since 184 in August 2003, the regular Osprey from 1005, a juvenile Red Kite over the car park at 0935 then flew SE, 2 Black-tailed Godwits at the south end of the west bank were difficult to see due to the high water level currently, ad Yellow-l-Gull, just one Swift and a Yellow Wagtail heard ‘over’ at 1030

Probably the highlight of the autumn so far; Ogston’s third ever Woodlark flew down the reservoir at 1001 before flying east at 1004. Pretty quiet otherwise with a fem Pochard, imm drake Goosander and a fem Blackcap.
