WILLINGTON GP   A flock of 30 Black Tailed Godwits flew through SW on 14th July. A Bittern again and a Great White Egret on 15th July. A Red Kite on 19th July with an Osprey on 21st July. A Little Egret and a Green Sandpiper on 24th July with at least 1 Grasshopper Warbler still singing. Up to 3 Oystercatchers and 3 Common Sandpipers noted. A Yellow Legged Gull on 20th July.

CARR VALE DWT RESERVE   The Bittern seen on most days up to 17th July. A scruffy 1st summer Mediterranean Gull on 13th July with a pristine juv. on 19th July.10 Grey Wagtails on (17th was a sire record count and 5 Raven flying NW on 18th July equalled the site record count. Single Little Egrets on 16/21st July with a Green Sandpiper on 19th July. Up to 5 Teal, 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 3 Common Terns, 2 Hobbies and a Peregrine also noted  with a Grasshopper Warbler singing from 13-17th July and at least 1 Water Rail heard/seen.

CARSINGTON WATER   An Osprey on 14/15/21st July with a Hobby on 21/24th July. A Wood Sandpiper on 21st July with a Dunlin on 13th July and 3 on 22nd July.  A sub0-ad Yellow Legged Gull throughout with an adult Caspian Gull type from 15th July and a Shelduck on 22nd July. Up to 5 Little Egrets, 4 Teal, 1 Peregrine Falcon,11 Oystercatchers,10 Little Ringed Plovers, 4 Common Sandpipers, 5 Redshank and 2 Common Terns noted.

OGSTON RESERVOIR   An Osprey on 12th July, a Black Tailed Godwit n 18th July and a Little Tern on 13th July .A Belgian ringed ad. Mediterranean Gull on 11th July with another ad. on 20th July. Up to 3 Little Egrets-including a bird ringed at Walthamstowe Res in London, 7 Mandarin,65 Tufted Duck, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 4 Oystercatchers, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 3 Common Sandpipers and 3 Common Terns noted along with an ad. Yellow Legged Gull on17/18/20th July

LONG EATON GP   Up to 5 Little Egrets, 25 Gadwall, 2 Pochard, 3 Oystercatchers, and 1 Common Sandpiper noted

BARROW GP   On 14th July 6 Shoveler, 90 Tufted Duck, 3 Yellow Legged Gulls and 8 Common Terns.

HIGHBRIDGE GP   On 14th July a Greenshank and a Green Sandpiper.

STAUNTON HAROLD RESERVOIR   An ad. Caspian Gull on 18th July.

ASTON-ON-TRENT GP   10 Little Egrets. 15 Grey Herons, 210 Tufted Duck, 2 Oystercatchers and 10 Common Terns on 21st July.

CHURCH WILNE WATER SKI PIT   2 Common Terns on 22nd July.
