HOLME MOSS   A Black Redstart was singing here on Sept. 22nd.

CROWDEN   4 Ring Ousels on Sept. 22nd.

LONG EATON GP   The Black Necked Grebe was last seen on Sept. 20th. On Sept 22nd 3 Little Egrets, 11 Pochard and 243 tufted Duck.

DRAKELOW DWT RESERVE   On Sept 19tht 2 Great White Egrets, 23 Little Egrets and a Shelduck.

WALTON-ON-TRENT   A Great White Egret on Sept, 23rd.

WILLINGTON GP   The Bittern still ;present on Sept. 21/22nd with up to 25 Little Egrets, 11 Wigeon, 16 Gadwall, 4 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 2 Pochard, 15 Tufted Duck and 2 Water Rails noted. Two Pintail and 2 Reed Warblers on Sept. 18th, a Hobby on Sept, 21/23rd and a Common Tern on Sept. 21st.

MIDDLETON MOOR   A Marsh Harrier, 2 Pintail, a Dunlin and 45 Teal on Sept. 19th

BEELEY MOOR   A Marsh Harrier on Sept. 19th.

CARSINGTON WATER   A Great White Egret on Sept. 23rd along with  a fem/juv. Red Breasted Merganser and a juv. Osprey flew South. The 1st small skein of Pink Footed Geese-27-flew NE on Sept. 17th. Two Pintail on Sept 18th with 13 on Sept 19th. A Hobby on Sept 17/18th with a juv. Arctic Tern, a juv. Ringed Plover and 2 Dunlin on Sept. 18th. Two Yellow Wagtails on Sept. 17th with a Tree Pipit on Sept. 18th. Up to 1 Little Egret, 9 Wigeon, 31 Teal, 1 Shoveler, the sub. adult Yellow Legged Gull and 6+ Ravens also noted.

OGSTON RESERVOIR   A Great White Egret on Sept. 21st was joined by 2 more on Sept. 22nd before the 2 “new” birds flew off NE. The female Garganey still present on Sept. 21st. a Goshawk on Sept. 19th along with an ad. Arctic Tern. Two Stonechats on Sept. 18th. Up to 1 Little Egret, 8 Gadwall, 12 Teal, 1 Pochard, 15 Common Buzzards, a Peregrine Falcon, 7 Snipe and an adult Yellow Legged Gull noted.

CARR VALE DWT RESERVE   The 2 juv. Garganeys still present on Sept, 24th. On Sept. 16th a Little Egret, a Red Kite and 6 Grey Wagtails. On Sept. 17th a skein of 60 Pink Footed Geese flew SE whilst oln  Sept. 18th  a juv. Arctic Tern briefly dropped in before leaving to the North. On Sept 19th the 1st Golden Plover of the autumn and a male Stonechat, the latter still present on Sept. 21st. A Marsh Tit on Sept. 20/24th. A Pintail on Sept. 22nd with a Green Sandpiper and a 1st year Caspian Gull on Sept. 24th. Up to 5 Wigeon, 35 Gadwall, 55 Teal, 14 Shoveler, 2 Water Rails, 8 Snipe, 3 Hobbies and 2 Peregrines noted.
