WHITE EDGE   A Bee Ester flew North on June 29th, only the 6th county record and a superb find for the observer(s).

ELTON COMMON   Still up to 2 “singing” Quail on June 30th.

CARR VALE NR   The Bittern again present from June 30th-July 2nd and a Black Tailed Godwit on July 1st. Still 4 Teal on July 2nd with a Little Egret ON June 27/28th.A Curlew and 9 Black Tailed Godwits on June 25th, a Hobby on June 26/30th. A Red Kite flew S on June 30th and a Barn Owl seen most days from June 29th-July 2nd. Three Little Ringed Plovers on July 1st with one on June 30th.

CARSINGTON WATER   A Knot on June 27th with a drake Common Scoter and 26 Black Tailed Godwits on June 30th.

LONG EATON GP   A Black Tailed Godwit on June 28th. A Green Sandpiper, a Red Crested Pochard and a Little Egret on June 29th

AMBASTON GP   A Greenshank on June 28th.

ASTON-ON-TRENT GP   On July 1st 1 Little Grebe, 11 Great Crested Grebe, 13 Cormorants, 6 Little Egrets, 8 Grey HERONS, 8 Greylag Geese, 1 Wigeon-an injured bird, 18 Gadwall, 7 Teal, 1 Shoveler, 1 Pochard-drake.52 Tufted Duck, 25 Lapwing and 2 Common Terns.

KINGS MILLS GP   3 Shelduck-2ads and a juv, 18 Lapwing and 10 Pied Wagtails on July 2nd.

HUIGHBRIDGE GP   A Green Sandpiper, a Yellow Legged Gull and 4 Oystercatcher on  June 30th.

BARROW  GP   On June 30th  a Shelduck and a Yellow Legged Gull and 4 Common Terns.

OGSTON RESERVOIR  3 Little Egrets on June 27th with 2 Black Tailed Godwits on July 1st along with a Common Sandpiper. Up to 23 Mnadarin, 7 Gadwall, 4 Oystercatchers also noted recently.
