JMNR Sightings – 12th August 2019

Week 20 of the butterfly transect was carried out by John Parlby, 10:50, 15°C, Wind NW B1, 30% sunshine.

A total of 37 butterflies were recorded as follows: 4 Small White, 11 Green-veined White, 3 Small Copper, 2 Painted Lady, 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 5 Peacock, 1 Comma, 3 Speckled Wood, 2 unidentified white, 2 unidentified brown.

Also seen during the walk, 4 Southern Hawker.
